Meh, i think suarez had to make a quick decision on the flick. He didnt anticipate and prolly in that split second he realised he had to do a surprise move. The video shows the player anticipate the ball coming therefore had alrdy place his foot at an angle to prepare for the flick

incredible, was it pure instinct that made suarez do that def touch? it has to be a fast ball in and a fast flick to match because if you flick the ball slowly over the marker or don't get the loop/dip on it, they can glance it with their head, then it can be difficult to get on the end of the flick.
also it's hard if the marker is trying to get a foot infront of you or is pressing you, means you have to run towards to ball in the last split second to get a bit of space, when the pass is 4 to 5 metres away to try and get the touch from deeper, making it more difficult, with the hope that they make the movement forward with you.
hard skill to master, but you make it look so easy in the video. thoroughly enjoyed this video. when i saw this live I was psyched, I couldn't believe it, just when you think suarez is tightly marked and going no where, he pulls that out.
