  1. Well sometimes you have to make hard decision for something great and i believe Laporta do it for Barca even if that has to sacrifice Messi ,it not Laporta fault that Barca end up in edge of hill ITS all Bartomeu fault

  2. A bitter pill to swallow seeing what Messi is now on the international stage with the Argintina National team being so dominant with trophy collecting, Messi could have played in Europe longer even with things not working out at PSG. A healthy Messi and productive like right now should have had his last dance as the ultimate Barcelona player.

  3. Xavier commented on Laporta won't stop him from re-electing, the same Xavier, who said Barca can't compete with Madrid, and you expect Mr Laporta to start clapping for your disrespectful words. If not because of Laporta Barca could have been relegated
    Thanks to Laporta 🎉🎉🎉

  4. Xavi should be smarter. He should not be a part in political fight… a lot of dirt will go out and legend like him should not mess with that.

  5. What genuinely pisses me off as a Barca fan Is that Laporta took it upon himself to make a public announcement back then that he's gonna bring Messi from PSG.

He knew exactly our feelings on Messi return, had the nerve to make a meeting with Messi's camp at the same time being aware of our Club finance situation but that move only got us fans a slap across our faces.

I would have respected him if he man up and made it known to the public that he was aware of our feelings and wants concerning Messi's return but the Club above all needs a financial resuscitation first.

Now that level of accountability would have earned him our respect but THE LIES and the theatrics to pull a bring back Messi move just to get a fan base reaction under the pretence to do something noble but deep down he was just pulling our leg with that stunt, Shame.

  6. Messi is still the best player in the world and if it wasn't for him Laporta would be a nobody and Barcelona would have only 1 UCL.

  7. We barca fans are used to drama. don't worry , we are good. 😂😂. but the trauma of seeing messi in a psg shirt for two years will remain forever . Xavi 2asnt good enough too though

  8. Laporta did well. It would have been a big mistake to sign Messi again. And i Love Messi. He also did well when he decided to sack Xavi because the truth is that Xavi has been a sad and bad coach at Barcelona.

  9. Xavi's team did compete in champions league in his last year, not saying he should've stayed but to say that he didn't compete at all is disingenuous

  10. Xavi stay quite . Barca Is doing extremely well right now . There is nothing u can say about larpota that will work . Messi was never going to play for barca for ever . We have lamine , pedri , Raphinha . U wanted to sell Raphinha. Raphinha was never happy with u . Lewanduski the same . Even Dembel saw that u will failed , that what made him to leave . Had it been we had flick, dembele would have still be in Barcelona today .

  11. Wethere we like it or not, Messi coming back would only have complicated things for Barca. And it wasn't ideal building a team around a 35 year old Messi, even if he was still the best in the world. It might have been an impossible decision, but I believe it was the right one in the grand term of things.
