    Landon Donovan in 2014 was still the USMNT's best player, which he convincingly proved after rejoining the team in qualifying. I think he had the most assists and created the most goal scoring chances of any player on the team upon his return. Jurgen Klinnsman's decision to drop him was purely personal and vindictive and ended up costing the US a chance to go even further in Brazil 2014 – I will never forgive him.

    I understand where he’s coming from but this was Clint’s team. Landon woulda been a distraction. Fabian Johnson, Julian Green, Jonathan Brooks were all huge contributors. The homie Jermaine is a Patriot.

    not Jozy not coach son Michael Bradley

    those guys who played 2 or 3 games- made Americans proud out of Group of Death and all 23 were the best players we had available

    Landon is toxic now and toxic then and rather retire his mouth like he took that sabbatical

    the US did really great looking back. they made it to where they had a pretty close game against Belgium. they survived a tough group with Portugal and Germany. and they beat Ghana who had bedeviled them twice in previous world cups. with Landon on that team they could have been incredible! I think klinnsmann was pretty good overall but that was a horrible decision.

    And those players were mix diskerud, julian green, timmy chandler, aaron johannsson.. for god sakes they took wondolowski over donovan. Tf were they thinking.

    What do you mean there are player that will play 3/4 games and not step in the U.S. ever again ??? Is America giving free national passports to foreigners just to play in the national team ?? … because I don’t see how an american will never step on us soil ever again … doesn’t sound right what he said … ( I’m European and in the national team there are only Italians or people born and raised in Italy with different backgrounds… but there are no foreigners in the national team)

    Landon should not have been given an opportunity to be one of the commentators during Euro 2024!!! He’s boring and has nothing to say what an embarrassment !!
