Lamine is a combination of Messi and Neymar. He's got the flair and creativity of Ney, but the fundamental perfection of cutting and soft touches at pace like Messi.
All you need to see is that tiny little touch he does to set the ball up for the shot for his goal against Inter. That's a Messi touch. No one else does that. No one else can.
The reason why everyone is freaking out (apart from his age) is that he has Messi-esque control about him. It's something Ronaldo doesn't/didnt have. It's something only Messi and Maradona have possessed in all these years. Mentioning his control and touch amongst those GOATs means he's destined to join them. Hope his career is a long and healthy one.
