  1. What makes Messi and Ronaldo different is not the fact that they were super good, it’s the fact that they stayed consistently good for over a decade

  2. lamine is nothing like Messi in terms of similarities. He is more like a right wing Neymar with a little more IQ than Joga Bonito. HE is the best young player, best teenager in football history, he is better than every legend when they were 17 years old and I believe he has consistency in him and remember he's not injury or even fatigue prone. sure Messi wasn't really a topic of discussion when he was 17 years old but that's just because not every coach is bold enough to play that card and bet on a 17 yr old player especially back then when older players flourished more than young players. If Messi was 17 right now, and was given the chance to play, Messi will still be favorite in the youngster conversation. its all about circumstance. You have to give props where props are due… Xavi and Dembele were the difference makers in Lamine's career. Xavi bet on a young lad and Dembele leaving Barca was the greatest push

  3. Messi debuted age 16 and he was FIRE!!!.. You can't compare messi at 17 to Lamine 17. I am not even a Barca fan but tbh Messi was something else.. Have you watched CR7 play for Man Utd? Neymar at 15 in Santos?

  4. The title is breakdown of stats yamal v messi and yet you didnt show any stats from messi. Wtffff is this clickbait bullsh*t. Didnt show one stat from messi at age 17. What a joke

  5. STOP THE COMPARISONS WITH MESSI !!! Even back in the day, no one was comparing Messi to Maradona every day for every club match. It only took steam around the 2010 world cup when Maradona became the coach.

NO ONE WANTS ANOTHER ANSU FATI !!!

  6. Lamine doesn't need this, and he is even putting himself there with that stupid hair and that 2 shades he wore after the Copa win. He has not been playing well lately like before, and he needs more focus than he is doing now. Yes he had two assist and all, but his overall play was below par. He should stop doing pressers and stop doing that lousy hair styles, and remain calm and cement your football prowess. You do that when I have achieved, he should learn from what happened to Ansu

  7. Stop this madness. He’s a wonderful talent, but comparison is the thief of joy. Let Yamal be joyful and run his own course

  8. Messi was a better dribbler easily and more explosive but he was also more raw. Lamine is more refined in his play but I feel his raw talent is below Messi.

  9. Yamal is no where near messi level and i am a RM fan. Teams and players back then were much better and the game was not this protected. Y'all overhyping yamal too much for just 1 season. He is not even on CR7 level and wont reach that level of messi and CR7. Wait till next season when players start to kick him just like vini and watch his career crumbles. 😂😂😅😅

  10. I dunno, when they did Messi vs Mbappe it didn't make sense either. Messi had an absolute tenacity and stone cold read of the entire pitch already at that age, something that doesn't show on goal & assist stats. He also had monster mentors like Ronaldinho, Iniesta, and Xavi to bring out the best in him. Perhaps it's better to compare Yamal to C. Ronaldo or Mbappe.

  11. The last point was a great one. We watch Barça because it's fun to watch them! Their style of play is mesmerizing, even magical and ANYONE on their side can score BANGERS. It's a celebration of futbol and youth in it's pure form. Enjoy while you can.
Celebrate the youth and their beautiful optimism!

  12. Comparing any player to Messi is comparing them to Maradona and Pele cause Messi is the Goat with those 2 coming real close behind him. So the bar is astronomically high for yamal or any other that wishes to be compared to the goats
