Also, please make MLS have 4 conferences, instead of 2. Western conference, Southern conference, Northern conference and Eastern conference. Each of the conferences consists of 12 teams. For regular season, each team will have 28 matches in total: 22 intra-conference matches (home and away) + 6 inter-conference matches (home and away) (for example: one western team competes against one southern team and one northern team and one eastern team).

So dumb for MLS to go back to a 2 game playoff in the first true round. It doesn't reward the teams that finished top 4 at all IMO. Also, it means that the MLS cup final will be later in December, which ends up punishing the team that wins by giving them very little break/vacation time. If anything, they should get more time with their families after winning, but that's just me..
