Vinicius Jr. is the BEST player in the Madrid team. Aside his injury that's kept him out, Vinicius Jr. & Rodrygo have been the BEST in the team. Mbappé has only scored goals, but he's been terrible aside the goals. If he was top, he'd have scored 40 goals by now. Wasting chances that have cost Madrid.

His first half of this season was almost totally a bust. He has had amazing moments, but he is not in the same league as Messi or Ronaldo who were tops every year they played. Right now either Lewy or Raphinha are the players of the year, with Lamine not far behind. Julian Alvarez is in the talk. If Mbappe continues to play well then yes he can be up there.
