Your kid had no issue throwing that elbow though did he? Not saying coach should be touching a kid at all but im also not gonna act like your kid got hurt more than the kid he tried to hurt either

Few comments – (1) It was a clean challenge – aggressive, yes but a 50-50 ball and shoulder to shoulder and within playing distance of the ball (@0:52 pretty sure JK makes contact w ball)…JK did not load up and try to destroy the kid…….(2) Coach should NEVER come on the pitch unless invited by Ref to attend to a hurt player; and (3) Coach should NEVER EVER touch an opposing player except to shake hands or high-five them at the end of the game. Coach needs to be suspended for at least 1 year to process his errors.

What’s outrageous is police cited and released him on the scene. DISGUSTING. If it were one of their kids the guy woulda been carried off in a stretcher which he deserved. This is criminal abuse of a child >12, which is a class C felony. Instead they charged him with the minimal charge they could get away with so as to not arrest him. Pathetic. Way to protect child abusers. Who does he know?
WKYT: The coach isn’t “accused of shoving child to the ground”, he shoved the child to the ground, everyone saw it, you show it on video. He’s “accused” of a crime. Journalism isn’t that hard.
50/50 ball…that coach sucks. Yes it was some rough contact but both players were going hard gor it.
AMERICAN PARENTS: Leave the officiating to the referees. You aren't trained, and the only thing in that game you legally have any control over is your OWN DAMN KID! Learn some damn self-control, people who lose control easily are weak people inside. It's srsly pathetic. And you can catch charges if you get even a little physical.
I can already tell you how this coaches statement will go. " the video doesn't show everything, I had heat stroke symptoms, the kid ran into me, I feared for my life when the kid was running towards me" 😂. Take your pick 😂

My kids played soccer at that age. Thankfully I never had to rearrange a coach's face for pushing one of my kids.

It is great that you have a girl who can really play on your team but you can't expect opponents to coddle her like you do and you certainly can't react like this if she gets fouled… Equality goes both ways and soccer is a physical game.

It’s not even a reasonable crashout either. That kid in yellow took a bad tumble but it was clearly incidental contact.
But if that was an adult he shoved he would be in jail for the assault, so why not the same for him putting his hands on a minor? Our system is so backwards and jacked up.
