But he did go in with his studs
That’s not a foul. When the LA player went behind the opposing defense, the second player did not see him. He clearly even felt sorry, look at his face. And the studs weren’t in his face, you guys are extra. He hit him with the outside of the foot.
It’s a penalty like the sky is blue? What!?
That title is a sad attempt at alliteration
after watching this ive lost all hope in MLS Future :/
Anyone else think the commentator should be the ref for every mls game?
At 1:25, that should be a penalty because it doesn’t matter how far the ball travels, it just matters on the ball hitting his hand or arm
Hey mate, if you think that the first foul is not a red card: congratulations, you have no idea how football works!
One of the most important factors while sanctioning a foul is if it puts the physical integrity of the player at risk and at what grade it does. In this case it obviously puts his integrity at a tremendous risk and that action could have caused much damage.
It is a red card, clear as day.
By the reasoning given in just this video, Bobby seems to think it's okay to foul someone to stop an attack by kicking them in the face so long as the studs stay down and it's not a DOGSO situation… I don't want that sort of reasoning anywhere near the beautiful game.
Your book must be for sissies if you think Pena's foul was a red
Dogso redso? What is that? sounds like a child playing with words just to try acting cool in front of other kids.
This man is just so dense
how in the world is 3:15 a red lol?
This is a red card
1:34 he pull his hand back to his rib
Not offside you dumbass obviously it looks like that because of camera angle and only thing off is the arm but arms do not count
You cannot be commenting these u now nothing first clip shown it's a red idiot the cleats are up that's illegal even without intention get out of here get someone how now's about this sport
Get someone who actually knows soccer
I had to stop watching because of the guy's voice
3:38 bruh he picks up his foot. The other dude is sliding into him not even close to the ball. That's a foul period
Denying an obvious score opportunity is no longer a red card via fifa laws of the game rule change.
Studs to the face..automatic red card sorry Warshaw.
It was only glancing contact in Portland.
He’s too far away from from goal for it to be an obvious goal scoring opportunity.
You can’t legally challenge for the ball with your foot at head level.
What are you smoking?
that was not dogso it was SPA or stopping a promising attack for the one in the middle of the field
i think this guy just likes to say red card
FiFA should employ a group of officials to look at post games and issue fines to players who fake fouls …..
0:45 endagering the safety… clear red
He barely touched him
So I know you can’t see it at all from the angles they picked for this video but the crews afful’s tackle was actually 100% clean. Be wins the foot race to the ball and slide takes the ball away and then is tripped over. It is hard to find the camera angle but if you look at the angle from behind the goal you can clearly see this. Once again I know it doesn’t look that way from the angle they chose.
The sky isn’t blue. The air molecules just make it appear blue when you look. Get your facts straight.
And btw this is the 100th comment
gawd im done with warshaw.
In MLS, Red card must keep in Pocket, and free to kick player's face, rib, back or soft tissue. No Red at all !
Counting nonsense: 1) leg to face without touching the ball=straight red, no question
2) why would you call a foul just because he slid and didn't hit him?
3) no handball, it hit his shoulder and upper arm, which is not a handball
I think three is a lowest record of mistakes for these videos, so congratulations!!! (Pardon my English if there are some mistakes, not an English speaker)
Yeah i saw studs to the face too, that alone is red. But if you look even more, hagglands eye wasn't on the ball it was on his face. He even had the gaul to act like he head butted his foot.
Host, uhm what a joke. Boot that high but not dangerous? Ankle is more important than the face? Studs not exposed? 😂😂
Who go for the ball with their foot up in the sky?
I’m a timbers fan, but I’ll say that foul on Chara isn’t a red. Yellow is fine, it not terrible.
Also the first one is a clear red card wtf
BAHAHAHAHA I hate this bc the offside in the Dynamo game is EXACTLY like the offside that was called on Cameroon in the FWWC a few days ago. In all the men’s leagues they still remember the “clear and obvious error” rule, meaning if it’s so close they give the benefit of the doubt to the referee. They are using MILLIMETERS at the World Cup right now and it’s infuriating
This week goes down as a fail. Red card DOGSO at half? No way. So inconsistent. Also, Dax was not trying to get out of the way. If you call that there would be a million calls a game. He shows no movement to avoid contact. He just lets his feet out from under him. Dax deserves a fine for embellishment that affected the outcome of the game. Bobby, I’ve liked your reviews at times but drop the Chicago bias and the inconsistent calls.
Warsaw is an absolute idiot. Cleats to face is the definition of “endangering the safety” as he loves to say 40 times an episode.
Also, how do you not even bring up the most controversial call of the weekend, the Cincinnati player laying on top of the ball in the box.
Warsaw is paid off just like the refs hahahaha
BREAKING NEWS! according to rules analyst Bobby Warshaw, kicking someone in the face with your studs is now a yellow card offense, so be careful about doing it twice!
Dude, good thing you're not a referee or you'd get most of those calls wrong. The kick to the face should've have been a red card.
Sometimes ref doesn't have eyes
First one is a red card all day long! Have you ever seen the injures studs can cause?
Incredible you don't talk the elbow to the face in by Bastian….
Toledo is god awful
