Bizarre that many are saying Liverpool is a great move. I’ll be amazed if he’s playing for Liverpool next season. I wouldn’t bet on Liverpool having CL football next season for starters. And imo this team has already peaked. Maybe new owners will come in and start spending big to rejuvenate it, but they can’t impact where Liverpool finish this year. And it’s only going to get harder to win titles. City aren’t going anywhere, Newcastle are on an upward trajectory with huge finance to build, Utd will have new owners prior to the summer and are more likely to finish top 4 this year vs Liverpool. Chelsea are rebuilding with significant backing so they should improve, and even Spurs aren’t mugs albeit won’t be title contenders. Bellingham could waste 4-5yrs at Liverpool.
