I don't see Southgate staying past this tournament. This was an amazing, miraculous moment for England sure, but for the other 100+ minutes of the game they were sloppy and lacked creativity against Slovakia who shouldn't have been this difficult.
Take nothing away from Bellingham, he's saved Southgate for the moment. But Slovakia were the better team, and against a tougher opponent, I'm not sure if England survives again, we'll have to see against Switzerland.
But for christ sakes Southgate needs to make better use of his subs. The game switched when he put Palmer, Eze, and Toney in, they provided a spark that the team desperately needed. He shouldn't wait until the final minutes to do that!
