I turned my house upside down, seeing this game and seeing the coach worrying from the sideline instead of being proper mad or instilling that 🔥in them before and during the match. So disappointed/ with the preparation of this game. Sonia did her homework going to barcalona analyzing barcalona proper and she know the Only way to beat this team is to give it your all. That's why lyon parked the buss second half and dropped down nobody can sustain that high intensity press for a whole 90min.
And when it was time to press them reall hard we looked confused. The result of bad preparation/no hunger/bad mentality going into the game. And blame the staff for that. The experience in 2019 should have been enough even the game against psg should have been enough for a coach to see that this lyon team is a team that loves to fight and the only way to controle such a team is to be laser focused high tempo possession and fight for every duel.

Big mistake to believe what the press said, ie that they were the favourites. Everybody was very quick to forget all the titles that Lyon won over the years, you don't dominate for that many for no reason.

He talks like he never thought Lyon could win or was better than Barcelona. After watching the second game against Wolfsburg, in which all the many weaknesses of Barcelona were exposed, it was easy to conclude that Lyon was going to sweep them from the start. Lyon were stronger, faster, more technically inclined. Not to have seen that, and present themselves poorly prepared for the match shows lack of realism, professionalism, and irresponsibility from the manager down to the players. This is not, like he wants to present it, something "new" from which "they will learn". That's just cheap talk, BS at this point.
