  1. Dear Jurgen Klinsmann, 1:46 to 1:51 "For the US to be successful, Donovan needs to be a major contributor, no doubt" so I guess that means we'll do pretty bad, huh? Landon will have Klinsmann's job soon enough anyway.

  2. Honestly, these 23 players are not in any way better than London Donovan and some of them were not going to play in Brazil regardless. Whether this team will make success or not, Donovan supposed to be part of that success or failure once USMNT is concerned.

  3. If Donovan doesn't have the confidence then he's not going to perform at %100 and Klinsman made the right call to leave him out. I am a little worried about his bias towards the European players though. I hope he is choosing players based on their will and ability and not because of where they play at.

  4. That awkward moment when Donovan doesn't end up on the team.. I actually trust JK I mean look at what he has done with this team took us on a 10+ game win streak.  Except for the final was a joke of a gold cup.  I am tired of nobody having faith for this world cup yes we are the group of death but it is not impossible to get out of this group.  USA vs Ghana its a must win no doubt if its a draw or a loss we are done.  We need help from Germany to beat Portugal that has Germany 3 USA 3 Portugal 0 Ghana 0 now I know this seems far fetched but then USA pull out a win over Portugal which happened in 2002 and Germany beat Ghana Germany 6 pts USA 6pts Ghana 0 Portugal 0 with one game left USA advances I have faith! USA!

  5. I think he should not be so negative specially as the guy everyone looks up too or even if he gets the chance to be captain he needs to go in understanding that the team needs him and play his role

  6. Donovan is going to the World Cup. He I isn't too old or anything like that. What Donovan needs to do is give all he's got and leave his mark on the best U.S. performance at a World Cup in U.S. soccer history. Donovan along with his team mates will pull through! USA all the way!

  7. one thing about Donovan is that he was a child star… he's been playing professionally since he was 17 years old… therefore, I'm not really surprised if he feels mentally and physically older than he really is… might be the wear and tear of playing pro and the intense training of playing at the highest level (+ all the youth international tournies) since 17 is taking it's toll at an earlier age than normal.
