  1. I don’t get why people are acting like tuchel is the first foreign manager to manage England Sven goran erikson and Fabio capello weren’t even that long ago

  2. He is absolutely spot on here.

Btw, I don't know why is there so much talk about needing to have a coach coming from that specific nation nowadays? Especially the English NT.

Those are all big players, playing in big clubs, used to be coached by top foreing managers.
The Premier League has opened itself to the world long ago, there's so much influence on it from all parts of the world… I think it's beyond ridiculous to talk about having to have an English manager leading the NT in 2024.
If this was 1998, at best, I would understand it, but c'mon…
If you want to talk about that you could ban the foreing managers from managing in the PL lol.
    That's absolute nonsense.

  3. Managers dont matter at international level. Its more just a case of being a cheerleader in my opinion should have just given it to lampard or gerrard. Few semi finals in 14 years everyones happy

  4. I think you should stick to having an English coach. No one in Europe wants England to win shite. You make it out of group stages and your media and fans start disrespecting your competitors.
Your fans are shite, your brand of football is shite, and the only reason why the EPL is popular is because of the fact that it’s fast and marketable.
The Germans, Italians and Spanish will always be superior technically

  5. No, if City or Lpool would have had English coaches they would have won the PL and have great results in Europe. The chap from Newcastle did great.
Why does Brighton and others have non English coaches?
