The Haaland deal is kinda irrelevant considering Red Bull are a soulless moneyteam just like Man City is
Mainz & Dortmund should forever be grateful to Klopp for his achievements with the clubs. He has his reasons for accepting the position with RB. LFG Jurgen. YNWA #LFC
Klopp is a free man,he is not elected by the fans and owe no explanation to anyone. So he decides freely what suits him best.Dortmund players like Hummels,Goetze,Lewandowsky,,left for rival teams without anybody complaining. He will be doing a new type of job ,and causes no harm to any of his past clubs.
Is Carragher really that stupid? Completely missed the point, 3 minutes of absolutely trash out of his mouth.
I don’t see what the big deal is and think they need to focus on their own club and who it employs. So what that he got a job somewhere else. He’s not at our clubs no more and I wish him all the luck in the world and thank him for all he done. YNWA
The comment about if get paid enough money you would do it was scary!!
I prefer a brand or mad millionaire to build something from scratch and trying competing with the best, rather than abramovich or oil countries buying well established clubs to be a shark in a pond (city, psg)
The S*n owners are the same as Sky.
Carragher: I’ll work for Sky
0:59 Carragher is 💯 hypocritical. He works for Sky when they’re owned by Rupert Murdoch. The same owners as the S*n. Carragher isn’t bothered about working for them.
English people will never understand that Jürgen Klopp will now never become Germany’s national coach, ever. There are some things you cannot rationally explain. It’s about a special feeling. That’s what football is about. He had it, be he lost it, forever.
Well you´re not german. You don´t know the german mentality. In Germany we work for the money. Clubs like Mancherster United and City, PSG etc. couldn´t exist here. Maybe we´re not that successfull in the Champions League, but we are proud of our work. Leipzig and the RB universe do not fit into the German football and economic landscape. But I still like him. Bless you Jürgen!
Money has sucked the last bit of soul out of English football ages ago. To a degree that these people dont even understand anymore what actual fan culture like in Germany is about and why a club like RB Leipzig is a problem for these fans. In England every club is like Leipzig.
They completely missed the point, almost like they did it on purpose. The way red bull operate as a football team isn't critzied by anobay, they are doing a really good jobm the problem is the way the team was introduced to the league and that it plain and simply is against German rules.
I can understand the criticism. For that red bull has done in the sense of the whole 50+1. But klopp is for the people. He doesn't need to not join red bull as a director to show that. His style of play is what the playing system is within rb system. Im not german and I get that they want to keep authenticity within the German football culture. But its not like they are buying themselves trophies. They are buying young players giving them chances and then developing them into big talents. Thats awesome for the game. They do that for coaches as well. Wouldn't be surprised if rose leaves soon cuz he looks to be a good manager. Overall Germany can be upset but lets not be outsiders hate rb cux they acc do good for the game. If you want to be upset be upset at bayern for buying the best players from them or Dortmund. Or real madrid for just buying every teams best players without significantly developing there own. Or city. Klopps the man. Everyone knows that. Let his football brain do football things.
I understand the Motive, that RB create amazing opportunities for young players and make them even better. But thats not what the Protest is about. You can like the way a club works, but thats not the Point why most of Germanys Football-Community is mad. They`re mad because they feel like Football is being taken from them. And German Football clubs have to be owned by the Members with at least 50+1% of the votes. RB is destroying those principles and you can see that not only at RB, but at almost every Premier League Club. Leipzig is owned by Red Bull basically and they have 12 Members which decide everything in favor of Corporate (same in England you could say). Tickets are Skyrocketing, organised support is basically non-existent anymore and most Clubs are being turned into more of a Franchise than a Football Club. If you look at Teams like Schalke, HSV, Hertha and Köln playing in the 2. Bundesliga, they dont have a huge Company behind them which pumps Millions into their Club.
Rich people giving their understanding for taking money!
Asking questions and not giving the complete background, are we? And not a single one explaining or telling the arguments of the other side? That's a joke!
There is A LOT not to like with RB. Starting with them not being at least 50+1% supporter-owned as German clubs are supposed to be. Also, one club with teams in a lot of countries? That's MAD! And it's a company! It's not a football club. In this clip, it sounds like they (in this clip) think German fans are upset with their footballing model… Or the way they buy talents and sell…It's not that. Lastly, people like Klopp are held to a higher standard because of what they have meant to people and because of what they have said earlier.
Jamie is the hypocrate. He went into the Dortmund stands, praised the fans and the atmosphere. If he hadn‘t been drunk af he propably would understand that german football, especially in the ruhrgebiet is about passion and values. When Klopp was at Dortmund he clearly positioned himself against this type of club construct and called himself a fan of ‚traditional football‘. I don‘t believe that jamie knows klopps image and the quotes he‘s given in germany. Klopp destroyed his legacy in germany with that move. For what? Money? How greedy can you be? Again, not a popular move with the fans. Stop complaining about fans getting emotional about a topic you dont agree with.
This is the most serious I've seen these guys
.
What Waste of time this
Is. Klopp like
Anyone can do anything and this is not some
Crazy outlandish decision…it’s a job in football. 🤦♂️
no matter what they talk or believe, its just wrong! what jamie says is out of not understanding german club culture at all. to think its ok to take one of the 18 bundesliga spots just for yourself because you can and the systems allows is embarrasing. its embarrasing to take away the seat of more than 10.000 people just for yourself. and thats what all of those redbull, sap guys and companys did, they replace thousands of people who where a part of first league football in germany. eg general assembly schalke was 3608 people. redbull leipzig 17! people allowed to vote and thats just so it at least appears like it could be democratic, actually its mabye just one guy deciding. and now jürgen klopp is helping them. its just lousy. jürgen klopp advisor of autocrats
"If the Dortmund supporters are that much against Red Bull in football, why do they sell them players or buy players from them?"
Mr. Carragher, read that again please.
And that phrase describes the intellectual level of the discussion perfectly. No understanding for fans and their culture, no understanding about what a sports club is for and what a sports clubs core values are. Epic fail, guys. Epic.
