I don’t disagree with Carrager, but it’s the Bundesliga we are talking about. No one watches the Bundesliga on TV, unless you’re German. Donavan did eventually “cut it abroad”. He was legit good at Everton, after he went back to the mls and got his confidence back up. Germany deflated him. He learned to be more technical but lost confidence in germany

All this talk that he should or should not go to MLS is missing the larger issue that he wouldn't be any healthier playing in MLS. Reyna's soft like charmin. His father was also continually hurt, and the apple didn't fall far.
Landon donavan still hasn’t learned his lesson. He said the same thing about Pulisic when leaving Chelsea. He couldn’t do it abroad and thinks others cant either. He is a hater.

Can tell most of the people commenting on here didn't watch Landon on loan for Everton. He played extremely well for them and if LA was willing to sell, I think Everton would have made the loan permanent. LA wasn't gonna sell. This coming from an Evertonian.

Watching Landon chose and play in MLS over Bundesloga was one of the most disappointing and frustrating things. But, at the end of the day, it doesnt matter what anyone wanted its up to the player. He made his choice.
