Surely the "Best signing" means "Best value signing", no? Or at least take into account the fee paid – Rice was already West Ham's captain & best player, and also a fixture in the England first team. Which is why Arsenal paid £105m for him. You can't be surprised then, when he also plays well for Arsenal, surely?

I’ve watched Cole Palmer in U21. I also saw him make his debut in Carabao cup a few years ago. He was always a great talent. Did I think he’d make such an impact this season? Absolutely not.
I don’t fault Pep for selling him. His ceiling was always so high & I’m glad he’s going all in. Brilliant player & perfect fit for Chelsea.
