  1. The first African player to Win a Ballon D'or,was the Great EusƩbio in 1965.
Also the Great EusƩbio was the First player to Win the UEFA Golden Boot in 1968.
EusƩbio the "Black Panther", one of the 10 Greatest Football players in History.

  2. 😮😮😮😮 I'm from CONCACAF, and I'm well aware that the gold cup is not a mayor tournament, but Copa America, on the other hand, is the best tournament, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Colombia, come on ….

  3. Show some balls Jaime!! Weres you backbone?! Stick by your statement, that is not yet a recognized major tournament. There's absolutely no shame in saying so!!!

  4. To be honest the Europeans have that perspective about ALL continents.

If a Brazilian won everything IN BRAZIL and the copa libertadores, they wouldn’t get a mention for a ballon d’or.

They don’t respect AFCON any less than the Copa America. This is the problem of having a show that only has a European focus.

  5. If the roles were reversed and Jamie were criticising the Euros and praising AFCON, no one would bat an eye. It’s only because the people on the receiving end were black that such a big deal was made of it. Not allowed to constructively criticise anything they do without being swarmed

  6. I love the level of respect this cast show each other. like Jamie mightve gotten a small heads up before going on air but his answer was genuine and definitely not written which I appreciate despite how "clumsy" he can be with his language

  7. Some times we say things that are so factual and evident that we don’t choose our words as carefully, and Carra fell into that twitter trap unfortunately, but we all knew what he meant and it was an attack on the ballon d’or and not the tournaments

  8. It will come down to how well Egypt did in the World Cup, and they weren’t there, and the African nations didn’t perform who were there except Morocco

  9. Why IS that offencive? It's a reality. And as he said a European thing. Do you think Messing would have won any if he wouldn'f have played in Europe?
And yes, Argentina's national .. but look at the history of South american football VS Ɓfrican football. So just a reality.
But if It were to be for him to won, to be awarded… Great! That would mean anothe step forward. ( Not only about nationality, but to be honest skin colour too. They didn't have It to Vinicius)
