I was 19 when Italy won that worldcup. Time flyes by fast. Nice to see marko talk about it, Italy always produced big names and is a major pillar in world football. But its been a while since we saw players like Pirlo, Inzaghi, Totti, Cannvaro, Nesta, and so on.
Maybe it has to do something with the league not having the status as it had in the 90s and early 2000s? Ofc many factors, but the world needs a fun and Star filled Italy, it makes football more fun. The euro squad was pretty good and played with a flare, but for whatever reason they did not keep their performance.
