  1. Germany also came 2 in 2002 & 3 in 2007, didn't need rejuvenation just because. Yes new young talents helped, you saw in 2010 ask the kids, bar 1/2, but bit like they were shirt before

  2. "Investment×3!" Ffs is money the only thing that matters, even in international game? Thought it was sit priving whos best, the mist skilled, smartest. It's Italy & now you taking me they need boat loads of money to rely on being better than kosovo & Benin

  3. Yes, the billionaires should come in and spend their billions on saving Italian football. It’s not like there’s a world hunger as a crisis or anything. 😂

  4. I was about to cry, but I feel more like him and think the same. I don't know what they prioritized, but they don't do anything with the national team and not winning club competitions either

  5. Talking rubbish. Clickbait. There's always been plenty of foreign players in Serie A, even when they won 2006 World Cup. Needs improved coaching at national team level.

  6. Look, there are foreigh players in all the leagues in europe. They are not stopping youngsters from developing their talents. It's just a rough patch. Italy is a great soccer nation. They will bounce back

  7. There is more bs to this then truth.
That could go for winning something , not for not qualifying. I will put Brasilian kid infront Italian in Juventus team if he is much better and that is how it should be. Go Bosnian league and check investment , even Croatian exept Dinamo as club and you will see the same. You can not tell me that you don't have better players then Bosnia individually. Gattuso and who placed him as managet should go first and then do more cleaning. Gattuso does not know tactics and got fired everywhere and he goes after that one on that position? Give me a break. He had 2 small area of success and that was after last manager had build core of them and functionality. Napoli for example. 😂
League is corrupted , politics everywhere . You give daddy's boy a chance in Milan and you gave him all chances and when he comes to senior squad you see that he is not good enough. That is policy in whole Balkan. 😂

  8. Dumb😂😂😂😂 this has nothing to do with Italy not creating talent. Italy just not the powerhouse they used to be. Even if the young players aren't getting enough playing time in they own country they can always venture out to other countries to get playing time. All nations produce talents it just depends on the influence and how far are they willing to go to reach the top

  9. Is it just me or is anyone else having an insanely difficult time trying to figure out if this bloke is American, Irish or British? 😂😂😂 his accent has had me perplexed for the last 5 minutes straight

  10. Seriously though…….who is this guy? Seems to have all the answers for a nobody 😂. The Italian's won the Euros not THAT long ago. We (England) have had a serious talent stream for at least 10 years now and won nothing. It does boggle my mind that Italy failed to qualify, but being a big football nation and having top players doesn't guarantee World Cup qualification. Just ask early 90's England when we missed the last World Cup in the USA

  11. Why does he talk like he's already won two world championships? You Americans have no clue about football! Talk about your sport! There's no flow to the game, always some kind of interruption, and you call that sport? 😂

  12. That's what need to happen in England, too many foreign managers that buy too many foreign players, then youth English players ain't getting enough chances for their clubs

  13. It’s not unbelievable.
What do you expect to get when your league has more foreign players than homegrown talent? They did it to themselves.

  14. This is how the lack of national players not playing for their clubs not getting known resulting in not playing for their own country ends up not only in Italy.
Will take a lot of time to recover

  15. We're 7th in the world in terms of players ranked in the top 25 at their positions. We are not the most talented, but definitely have way more talent than half the teams at the world cup. What needs to change is the qualifying process, how doea a team that won 7/10 games in the qualification project not qualify.

  16. europe is hard to qualify italy ranks 12th in FIFA but yet its not enough ohhhhh well pay those players to show up to qualifiy matches!!!! secure the wins!!!!

  17. As insightful as this is, the lack of Italians playing in Serie A is definitely not the problem. It’s actually better for the national team if their best players are a mix of those playing domestically AND abroad – as has been the case. It took England years to see the effect of this (and to be honest it will take a while longer before they reap the benefits). Italy’s issues seem to run a lot deeper…

  18. CBS golaço needs to invest in better commentators across the board, one thing is to follow rumors to get clicks but giving voice to xenophobia is worrisome. Not asking to cancel anyone, just don’t add hate to the comments. Foreigners in the Italian teams is as common as any other country in Europe and local talent benefits from the high standards that is played. Italy will produce another talented squad, it has won 4 world cups already, France and Spain have only two each,
