Some Ghanaians underestimate the usefulness of Kwasi Sibo in the Black Stars midfield. But like the journalist said, the defensive nature of Sibo frees up Caleb Yirenkyi to go more offensive.
The same thing happened in the Ghana vs. Wales game. Thomas partey was struggling which led to him getting the yellow card. Immediately Sibo came to replace Thomas partey, Yirenkyi was so free to go more which led to Yirenkyi's goal. The Yirenkyi – Sibo combination is solid.
Unfortunately, a lot of journalists who don't know anything about football always talk ill of Sibo.
Of all the games this one brought a smile to my face and itโs still bringing a smile to my face to this day. It was a rollercoaster but the passion these player brought and number 10 tenacity and grit is what soccer is all about.
