I don't think the ref actually did anything wrong here. Player overreacted for a simple bump with both doing their job. Keep playing.

All of you are blind or haven’t spent a minute on the pitch. The defenders eyes were on the ball the whole time and made a move to intercept without ever looking up and never saw the ref. With that being said he should’ve picked up his head. The ref basically never moved from that area.

Thought was rugby for a second. Joking aside, this is 100% fault of referee for not getting away from the player who was making a move towards the ball. Referee never intended to move away was the problem.
So a referee can barge a player but a player would get red carded if he barged the referee but obviously he didn’t mean to though but you know what mean though
I mean the rule says you should count referee as an obstacle in the field while the ball is still in play, the player shouldn't have expected the referee to avoid him.
