Is The 2. Bundesliga The World’s BEST League?

I travelled to Hannover 96 as they faced Munster in Bundesliga 2 which asks a question… is it the worlds most exciting league? – Huge clubs, big atmospheres and amazing match ups. This is PROPER football! 🇩🇪

  1. you guys should come back in summer against a large club when the house is full. then have a walk beside the "Maschsee" this route is realy nice.

When the stadium was built, blue was the main sponsor's color, and Schalke 04 also rebuilt at the time, and we got their seats for a good price. These are just rumors; I have no idea if it's true. It really annoys me, though. I want black, white, and green.

  2. Go to Kaiserslautern, another ground on a hill.I went there following Spurs in the UEFA cup in the 1999/2000 season. Its a lovely place with really good food.I think we lost 2-0 and that was the only downside.Happy travels.

  3. Die Münsterfans kommen nur so stark rüber, wegen der Akkustik im Stadion, weil die in der Kurve direkt unterm Dach sind. Zudem waren die Hannoverfans weiter weg. Eigentlich hat Hannover die besten Fans der Welt.

  4. I gotta tell you man its funny that you compare this to the Frankfurt takeover. I have been to an Hanover game with 20.000 Hamburg fans in the away end and I have been to the Frankfurt takeover in Barcelona. Both have been way greater than this. In the second division in Germany this fan attendance and performance is bang average. Please come to Köln or Schalke and especially Hamburg. They have even better fans that you have to see live.

  5. Hi Josh, i am
from Berlin and a big Hertha BSC fan, i stumbled across your content absolut love it.

There generally are a lot of clubs with a massive history and great fanbase you could visit. as a tip, The best experiences come at the evening games, especially when to rivaling clubs or just huge fanbases clash.

    For example

Hertha plays Kaiserslautern on the 8.02.25. they are fierce rivals of our club friends from Karlsruhe (KSC, also in the second division)

They beat us at home in the quarter finals of the DFB Pokal (our Cup) last year and went on to be finalists in “our”Olympiastadion.
and the first game this season was an amazing 4:3 win for Hertha.

It will most certainly be a heated atmosphere and great game. There are still some tickets free for the game. So if you want to have an amazing Saturday night, and a good video, you should consider that.

Other matches, which will definitely promise intense atmospheres and games would be:

Magdeburg vs Köln (14 February – Magdeburg is a smaller club with amazing atmosphere

Köln vs Düsseldorf (23 February) – a huge derby

Hertha vs Nürnberg (21 February) – evening game
Hamburg vs Kaiserslautern (21 February) – evening game with a guaranteed atmosphere

I would enjoy giving you more recommendations or just general knowledge about the clubs and what games to visit to truely grasp the beauty of this league.

Keep up the great work 🙂

  6. Köln has a great atmosphere too. The hymn has been voted the most beautiful in German football. And the whole stadium will be singing. It’s really hard to get tickets though.

  7. well to be fair hannover is called "the reds" and play in red trikots all the time so the colors make more sense xD
the city had i think if i remember several clubs who was green and so some of them changed their trikot colors but i talk about 100 years ago stuff so u better wikipedia it xD
