  1. in the next few years Rooney should sit just infront of the defence, behind the midfield. it will add another 2 years to his career. He'd be the most amazing defender in a dream team

  2. Rooney had nowhere to go and nobody else wanted him so the forward thinking club Everton who appointed Sam Allardyce as manager got lumbered with the help of man utd who contributed towards his inflated wages now he's leaving still nobody wants him where else apart from the USA can he play

  3. ronney might have had is up and down. i just like the way the media is treating him. this guys is an old man. england all time scorer and man u. i little respect for him. if it was ronaldo, im sure it wont be like this

  4. HONEST. CONTROVERSIAL. DISPUTED. DECISIVE. HEATED. RELEVANT. COMPELLING. PASSIONATE. OPINIONATED. HARD-HITTING. INSIGHTFUL. EXPERT.

Just a few examples of everything Paul Merson, isn't. Here he is talking about football. Enjoy.

  5. Mers if money is not a problem n Rooney is more than welcome to join Stevie g big club loyal fans intense pressure to win week in week out n stop the scum doing 10 now if you love football n not money then there's a proper challenge WATP

  6. I really don't know why people is blaming Wayne for Evertons mediocre season. They spend ~55 millions for klassen and Keane , and these 2 guys didn't contribute at all. Schnedelin was below average , and they lack a pair of good wing back and good wingers (before Walcott arrive) . Wayne Rooney contributed at least 10 points for them , and still he became the scapegoat .

  7. Rooney been playing football at top level for 16 years. He played in multiple positions over the years and in his prime sacrificed alot of his game so Ronaldo could be the main man. In the end it's caught up with him now and he's nothing like the player he was

  8. Rooney has been rubbish for Country since 2004 and Rubbish for Club since 2012… The guy should have retired when he was 25/26… Rooney's agent managed to milk money out of both ManUnited and Everton – now trying to do in US (which I don't mind ;)) – but the Rooney, his wife and his team are nothing but big time frauds…!

  9. Took a pay cut Everton are one of 6 other clubs that could still afford his big wage as for Rooney playing career Everton have ambition to finish top 4 his legs have gone always still score goals but Everton creativity isn’t there dropping deep gives ball away too much

  10. He’s got 11 goals that’s not bad at all, don’t think he’s been that bad, they won’t be able to replace that, Mahrez has had similar stats this season in arguably a better team and he’s being linked to a £60 million move to city.

  11. 32 years old, 11 goals and 2 assists, top scorer in the club all from playing central midfield. Poor Rooney, I know he hasn’t looked after himself but our media will never be pleased with him.
