  1. “The MLS is inferior and ruins Mexican players” is a Mexican fanbase hangup.. they are very ethnocentric.. they look down on anything and anyone thats not “true” Mexicans.. they can call fans and players Pochos for eternity for all I care.. we know who they are and what they’re worth

  2. Lalas getting out his pompoms and being the best cheerleader for MLS. I mostly agree with you that the MLS has grown a lot in the last 20 years and I do sincerely believe the MLS at one point will be the top league in the world. With that said we are not there yet and the quality of the players while much better than in the past is not at top European league levels yet. Some players do get looked over in the MLS but for the most part the soccer iq is not at a level where they can contribute in top teams. MLS needs to invest in coaches now to raise the level. Us in general has to invest more in coaching education so that the prospects at 16 will be smarter players.

  3. Eff it, MLS has to embrace the Latin American vibe if the league is gonna succeed… the more north, central, South Americans, Brazilian players we get the better the league gets. Eff Europe, just focus on what we got here

  4. Mls is better than FMF or primera as a mexican i approved this message corruption has messed up the only sport with exception of boxing, poor mexican boys look up inspired their playing talent on the forgotten ghetto areas and thats why the mexican league dont have potential because u required money in order to play in Profesional team.Skills are sided when it becomes part of the soccer team i mean look up younger boys & girls that go on tours playing for mexico 🇲🇽 they play out standing with great skills but economicly they cant afford to fitch on a team the Danonine soccer tournament shows what im saying for u guys that would like to consider the facts. A great movie that showed that was Goal but that was still LA now take a time to consider how much hiden talent mexico has on the forgotten areas.

  5. Mexican people are just so emotionally connected to Mexico that anything related to their country has to be the best. It’s like a superiority complex.

  6. The MLS has successfully lured Mexican nationals like Vela, Chicharito Hector Herrera & latest rumor Chucky Lozano to abandon their European clubs to collect a hefty paycheck in the MLS. Those players have been erased from the national team since and rightfully so. The MLS is an inferior league and lacks the intensity and competition demanded by International football duties. We also castrate Mexicans abroad that return to LIGA MX after flopping in Europe. The Mexican fans and media are extremely toxic, it’s part of our culture. MLS has grown but it is still lightyears away from becoming one of the top leagues in the world. In the last 23 years, LIGA MX has won 20 out of the 23 champions league titles in CONCACAF. MLS has just 3 titles in the competition’s history and 2 of them were in the 90s.

  7. Competition is always good! The stronger MLS is, the more Liga MX will be forced to improve. Its already happening.

There will be a day in 15 or 20 years when it will be impossible for Liga MX to keep up with MLS. That day, Liga MX will be three times stronger than what it is today. So, all in all, good outcomes for all. This is not a zero sum game.

  8. Dude, MLS is good…. Its on par with liga MX, But its no where near the EPL… And as long as football, basket, and beisball exist, MLS will NEVER be a top league… The players in the EPL are so much stronger, faster, and more skillful than players in MLS. Its like night and day.

  9. We don't hate mls or American soccer. What we hate is schills like you looking for any opportunity no matter how out in left field it is to pump it up to all of us who see it as it is,then when we don't buy it you call us haters. Keep pumping, someone might turn around and thank you one day

  10. MLS has made great strides, give it 5 more years and it will be a top league, its coming. I do think they need relegation to up the intensity, don't like the playoff format, i mean you can finish in what, 7th place and make the playoff, cmon….
