  1. Thanks for the shoutout Wiebe. I'm still not sure which I'd pick. I think of iconic long-range goals like Roberto Carlos' free kick or Dempsey's volley with Fulham vs Maradona's runs or Vela. I actually tend to lean in the direction of an immaculate curler from long-range. It would just be so cool to have that be THE moment.

  2. I think LAFC is so desperate to beat Galaxy that the anxiety might play against them.. and WOW!.. that guys speaking on behalf of LAFC is so dumb, first mistake, compare Vela to Messi.. (ridiculous).. mistake 2, say that if LAFC just gets to the conference final and loses then it would be ok.. this is what Zlatan was talking about.. that loser mentality where it's ok to participate and just get a ribbon.. come on guys, what a joke!

  3. It could mean nothing. People like myself hating on Warshaw and then getting a Warshaw only episode. Good job standing by your boy, Wiebs.

LAFC is the best regular-season team ever in MLS. Not discussed on this show but on the topic, I think it is a weak arguement that Doyle has said something to the effect that LAFC can't be the best team ever after they were eliminated from the USOC by a very good Portland side because TFC won the treble. LAFC is smashing records left and right in a better league than the TFC of 2017. One loss shouldn't automatically eliminate a team from best ever. Especially since LAFC has to come out on top against dozens more teams than TFC did to win their domestic cup.
If they win SS (a formality) and MLS Cup they will be the best team MLS side ever. I think they are the most dominant and talented team.

  4. Bobby, qualify it to the "best single season MLS team ever" and you have some legitimacy, but not "best ever". That takes multiple seasons the same way you say a season is more important than a single trophy.

  5. Great mailbag question: If you could score one MLS goal then had to retire, what kind of goal would it be? I'll take it one further, playing for what team? And against which team and in what stadium?
