If Josh had won three-out-of-five as Collingwood coach he would have put his hand up immediately to be the next messiah. It is so obvious it is almost embarrassing, but he is such a good bloke as well. I don't like that as a Carlton fan, but it is understandable. Josh Fraser will become the next Wayne Bennett-type mercenary of the AFL, apparently.

Finals was completely fine from the get go. Only argument for the wild card nonsense was that you had one or two wins splitting 4-13 the last few seasons. Justifiable if that was the norm

I really enjoyed the Ireland v Australia game.
Eddie personifies the difference between the average Collingwood supporter and the average Carlton supporter: he hopes that Josh doesn't take the job because he doesn't want Carlton to succeed. How miserable is that? The average Carlton supporter wants everyone to do their best, to have a high standard of play, and a good match, and be focussed on how we are performing. How refreshing is that?
