  1. Bro I would start messi first match and bench him second half and depending who’s next I would completely bench him . They need to seriously monitor his time and if anything it makes the team better cause if something were to happen to Messi then they could carry on alone .

  2. I don't think these guy's get the full picture. 1. Messi is 38 and still playing full matches because he doesn’t need to run a lot, he mainly walks around till he gets the ball and magic happens. 2. He is still better than all his teammates when it comes to dribbling, passing, assisting and scoring, not to mention his incredible vision and 400 IQ understanding of the game. 3. His presence is needed not just because of his skills but simply because of his presence, his aura. His teammates knowing that the captain and GOAT and leader is still there with them gives them so much positive energy and all the mental strength they need to play as the baddest team in the world. People don't realize that this argentinian team is not really a team, it's a family and Messi is the father, the head of the family. Without him they lose the glue that unites them. We still got this. 🇦🇷💪

  3. As a starter? They probably are better, because he probably won’t hold up for a long tournament. Off the bench? They are better with him, but he shouldn’t be the focal point for every lineup.

  4. Argentina won’t do anything close to WC 22. They had a penalty in every match and other controversial decisions, Messi played a role in that competition but what Alexis said is over the top glaze. Everyone knows that WC was a robbery set up for Messi to win it, his PR team cashed out from the PR bank to make that win happen, now it’s straight ball, all though I wouldn’t be surprised if Argentina was in a group with Cape Verde and another bottom feeder country, that guarantees them making it out of the group.

  5. Argentina is not currently better without Messi!!! Whether he plays 90 minutes a game, comes off the bench, or sits on the sidelines. He's the GOAT and makes everyone better around him. Look at how Miami plays with him on the field & in the locker room. 🤷 I hope they go back to back. Wouldn't that be the best way to cement his legacy?
