  1. so instead of picking the much more revenue-bringing option, with an already functioning stadium

you decide to choose a run down stadium that has not even half the capacity, with no guarantees that it will be finished being renovated by the time the competition comes around, because you want to be inclusive.

    that is absolutely stupid.

also you cannot use the excuse that the gaa doesn't want to use gaa stadia, since casement park is a gaa stadium.

  2. The majority of this tournament will be held in England, with the iconic Wembley Stadium being proposed again for the Final venue just like the 2020.
Scotland, Wales, Republic of Ireland, and Northern Ireland will only have one, all of them being the national stadiums (Principality Stadium, Hampden Park, Aviva Stadium, and the refurbished Casement Park).
For England, UEFA doesn't allow stadiums such as Anfield, Stamford Bridge, and Arsenal's Emirates Stadium to host Euro 2028 because they deemed their pitches were unsuitable. As a result, they favoured a modern stadium (Tottenham, Everton, City of Manchester) and a refurbished old one (St.James Park and Villa Park).

  3. Big day for Irish football and what do we get out of it? A new stadium for the GAA and sweet FA for domestic football.. ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. Another empty promise that it will filter down to grass roots, we've heard that before.. it shouldn't be allowed go forward until the FAI and govt sign on the dotted line & fully deliver a massive investment in domestic stadia and academy facilities for all 20 loi clubs plus a handful identified new target market towns

  4. You should be putting your energy into helping our clubs consolidate the progress they are making instead of wasting your time trying to impress the football 'elite'. New faces, same shitshow. FAI clowns 🤡

  5. 5 FA associations, Three of them one stadium, One doesn't even have any.

Minimum 2 stadiums between Ireland, Wales and Scotland, otherwise it's just pointless.

  6. Croke Park would be class only the aviva and a stadium that isn't built yet, pathetic to be honest 1 stadium in roi. Some '"historic" bid ALSO the 2 lowest capacity stadiums ate in the island of ireland
