Both teams performed poorly, with Iran being the weakest. As long as the Islamic Republic governs Iran, it seems unlikely for them to emerge as champions. Their prospects are hindered by the current regime.
Iran deserved to win as they created more chances. Syria needed to be more efficient with the few chances they had. Good game from both. 👏
