In regards to the criteria they are looking for, why does the candidate need to have experience in BOTH club and international management? Surely that is significantly reducing the number of possible candidates?

Kenny was game over by October but just played out his contract until November now there saying that won't be until September until an appointment, so thats 11 months to find a manager, what a joke
So their new plan after the recent debacle is: we'll try to get someone in just before next competitive games, giving them next to no time to prepare.

Gotta say hes got balls if nothing else, my personal view is if he gets it right we will look back and say it was worth it, if it goes pear shaped he will have to go, sometimes things are never what they appear to be to an outsider. Im not trying to justify what has been a dogs dinner of so called communication just being a bit of a devils advoxate. I think they possibly given assurances by a candidate who has now renaged and they dont want to make it public, we are so used to the FAI in the past being amatuers and at best bluffers maybe the media which are driving this whole saga jusf want to continue that narrative.

The FAI essentially announced they had someone who would take up the role in early April and could not do so any earlier because of their existing contractual obligations. Is he saying we were all wrong to assume the deal had been done? What else could we have taken from that announcement?
