Many comments focus on Inter Miami defense line. Nah, it's not all about the defense line in this game. First of all, Callendar acted very slow and passively in this game. The 2 goals from Atlanta were very clear. Everybody saw them. Callendar should jump right at the moment the striker shoot, not after the striker already shoot. Too late. Secondly, Atlanta did play very well tactically, and they were very well organized. They didn't make any mistake. Their strikers are not extreme sharp (If they were sharper, the score would be 5 or 6 goals), yet their players technique is better than most Inter Miami players. They controlled the midfield really good. They stopped most of the attack from Inter Miami. This is not Inter Miami defense line's fault. Thirdly, Inter Miami players seem not at their best on the game. Alba and Messi made many mistakes. Busquets seem get confused. Suarez and Taylor did run and tried to make a difference, but couldn't find a way to attack. The bottom line is Inter Miami did NOT prepare for the game while Atlanta did do their homework. The only thing that made fans feeling a bit better is Messi did do his magic. Messi shoot is a beauty as always. Many fans will argue that Atlanta scored 2 beautiful goal, why we just mention about Messi's goal? To me, Messi goal is always beautiful because Messi technique is at best. He always aim to the far corner of the net to shoot. Even the goalkeeper tried to react, it was just too far for his reach. That's the Messi thing.
