Why do Americans assume that just because a player at a club is American that they will have a big influence. Ten Americans have played for Leeds and not one has had much of an impact and our recent experience is that when the going gets tough the Americans walk away. As for American fans having an impact I would say apart from buying merchandise they have had none.
Did they actually say Jesse Marsch and Marcelo Bielsa have a similar style? They couldn’t be more different. Farke is closer to Bielsa’s style than Marsch. All the players saw their fitness levels drop significantly under Marsch. And it was awful to watch compared to Marcelo.
