I played a friendly game once with some players. We were four players shooting just one on goal, one at a time and the ball was the "High Pressure Ball" variant of the list above. And that ball hit hard on the goaly… so hard in fact that one of the players would hit so hard that he fractured one of the fingers of the goal keeper. So… these variants are banned for a reason.

As soon as you coat a ball with something different from its standard it will fly completely differently due to aerodynamics, especialy an uneven coating with tape. Probably greater effect than just visuals.
2 suggestions, a RGB pattern of some kind do a google image search, may be time consuming to make. And a combination of those that rated high, eg weighted and high/low inflation of the ball.
