  1. Wayne Rooney is arguably the greatest Prem player of all time. Right behind Alan Shearer in goals and a lot of the time he took the backseat to Ronaldo and Van Persie when realistically he was very capable of going into business for himself successfully. What a team player for someone so talented.

  2. I'm a Liverpool fan. I liked Wayne not always but I definitely have deep genuine respect for most people. Wayne played through alot of pain had a great career. I generally liked most of the ENGLISH players at man utd this past few years. Well done Wayne.

  3. i think that’s different to how old and new managers are, old managers could just use reputation as intimidation, nowadays any team can beat any team with certain tactics

  4. Being a liverpool fan the was times when i got anxious when a certain type of player in the premier league had the ball in and around the area and these players were Henry, pires, cr7 and rooney

  5. Football fans are such mugs! As soon as the great player ages and doesn’t perform as good they write him off and forget about all the good he has done! Rooney is a legend! No one can stay in prime forever!

  6. The more I hear Rooney speak the more I'm surprised how clever and humble the guy is. He could be a great manager in the future. The things he's done with Derby are amazing. I hope they stay up.

  7. Brilliant insight to playing against a team who will hurry off the ball, the crowd being an extra player. Really hope he works out as a manager. Fantastic brain.

  8. Overrated this always happens with English players lalanna maguire sterling how can you compare these players to the likes of inesta van dijk de Bruyne not in the same class bigged up by English media which in turn bumps up there price laughable Harry maguire is worth more than van dijk

  9. I’ll never forget that bicycle kick and the celebration against City he burnt out early into his prime but what a player you always knew from that Arsenal goal he was one for the future 😭
