Genuine way to make an unsavable ball; I play a high level of cricket and we polish one side of the ball to make it smooth, whilst the other side stays uneven causing the ball to swing sideways in the air. What you've got to do is draw a line down the middle of a slightly smaller, lighter ball and clean one half really well. Then, sand and cut bits off the other side of the ball. This will cause massive sideways movement but also dip and wobbling, from my experience of doing this myself
