Personally, I'd ask the wide CB who was on the side of the ball to be aggressive on that wide attacker and allow the FB on that side to play as a RM/LM while dropping an attacker to make it a lob sided 442. Obviously, I don't know the skill set of ur players so I'm jst guessing here
Just a suggestion, in this scenario I would actually ask my wing backs to position themselves higher so they have a shorter distance to cover when pressing the full back on their side, back line would have to shuffle across and mark the opposition top line players. My opposite full back will either tuck into the back line to create situational back 4. As long as you stop their switch and squeeze the space one side you should have better success.
Risky with the full backs starting a bit higher but this way it stops them playing around your shape easy and less time for their full back in possession
