Mount can definitely win the ballon d'or sometime in the future. He'll need to continue working on his performances and building that consistency. He hasn't been consistent this season which I think is a huge problem. If he wants to get closer to the ballon d'or, he'll have to improve.

I personally understand some of the hate southgate gets for his tactics but alot of people also hate him for his player selections but to be fair being the manager of England must be very hard to know exactly which player to take every game conidering the level of players he has, sure that says something about him not being ruthless enough but at the end of the day its not easy, its not like FIFA Ultimate team where you can just drop players if you dont like them these are professional ballers.

I never get hating on the player when he was nominated, it’s not like he chose himself. If there was an award for the best on your field and you got nominated would you say “no I’ll back down, this guy deserves it more”? Foden needs to play in midfield. Perhaps mount would play better with him in Midfield. England don't have any Midfielders that are technically good enough at keeping possession. Only Foden can do that atm, so he's either has to start ahead of mount or u play both of them with Rice or Henderson in Midfield.

English fans and Non English fans have so much hate for this kid just because he breaked all barrier you set for this kid in your mind,just because he was not that wonder kid ,just because your fav english player was not preffered over him ,just because he getting success early .I think this kid is just doing amazing job and has a fantastic mentality to answer the critics with work rate , work ethics and result.
On the Tyrone Mings part, a lot of people were worried he was going to be the weak link going into the tournament but he didn't put a foot wrong the whole time. Personally when Maguire came back in I was hesitant and wouldn't have minded Mings staying in there.
