  1. Can't be easy having to give press conferences every other day and pre match and after match interviews all the time.
    Time consuming and energy sapping!
Greed from TV companies and other media outlets have destroyed the game. VAR and the mess that is. Females intruding on the men's game having never played in the PL.
    Another excellent manager gone.

    * Sad Day For Football All Over The World***.

WRONG TIME TO ANNOUNCE THAT YOU'RE LEAVING LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB (My beloved Football Club). Well, thank you very much for all that you've have done for my beloved club (Lfc). Please, make sure you appoint MR DE ZERBI of BRIGHTON ALBION FOOTBALL CLUB MANAGER as your REPLACEMENT. I" WISH YOU ALL THE BEST IN YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE". Thank you very much for all that you've done for my beloved club "Liverpool Football Club". God bless you and your lovely family for standing by you throughout these wonderful years. Thanks – YNWA. WELL, YOU CAN GO AND FIX GERMAN NATIONAL TEAM AND BRING THEM BACK TO WHERE THEY BELONG TO AND MAKE THEM GREAT AGAIN. GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS. (As For Mr. Pep – Manchester City Manager, don't celebrate yet because your toughest test is round the corner).

  3. I think he should just say he needs a new challenge and feels his job at Liverpool is done, because when his managing another club in Europe bouncing around after winning a game with loads of energy it may not look good after saying all of this lol cause he clearly not announcing retirement but his making it sound like it, but respect to him either way he’ll be missed top manager

  4. I started to support Liverpool around 2008-2009 when I was a kid. Mainly due to the partnership of Stevie G & Torres. Was really gutted when Torres move to Chelsea. During 2010- mid 2015 we suffered a lot. I also keep hearing the stories of Liverpool’s past glories & used the “we got 5 champions league” card as a come back for any banter from United fans lol. However I kept thinking that when will I ever get to experience the actual glory & the feeling of supporting strong club. Until Jurgen comes in, it all change. We no longer have doubts whenever we going into any games. He made us believe that this team can bring the glories that Liverpool deserves. And most importantly he made us believe in Klopp.

This news breaks my heart & I’ll definitely cry. But I’m gonna hold my tears until the end of this season when he actually left. Thank you Jurgen. You’ll Never Walk Alone ❤

  5. Nearly in tears thinking that what he thinks he is, or might be, is on three wheels. Yeah go. Love you. But go. Klopp has made the past few years a pleasure to be alive, now we pay it back,

  6. I have so much love and respect for this man everything he has done for Liverpool and Football He’s respected by everyone and rightly so Thankyou Jurgen for the memories

  7. Such a shame an amazing man and quality manager like Klopp wasn't loved and respected by the Liverpool fans. Klopp will look back and think 'what if' he joined Man utd.

  8. Of course you want your team to be successful and win, but in many ways that’s just the easiest way to achieve the bigger goal. What any true fan wants most is to be proud of their team. This man has made me so proud of my team, many successes, even more ever so nearly heartbreaks – but through all of it just ever so proud. That statue can’t come soon enough YNWA

  9. For me, Liverpool epitomises what a good football club should be. Thank you for maintaining such a high standard of management. I really admire your dedication, honesty and professionalism. You value the idea of promoting strong relationships throughout the club and it has paid off.
In so many ways you are the complete opposite of the current UK government.
Enjoy the rest of your life … you have earned it.
    🇮🇪🇪🇺💚👏

  10. Its so refreshing to see a top manager, be totally honest about where he's at mentally. He looks jaded and he's gone at it full tilt for the best part of a decade. So much of the time in football pressers, the optics are managed to the point where you cant take any valuable info from them at all. But this was vulnerable, brutally honest and human.

  11. I’m a Manchester United fan and I’m sure they’ll be many like me who like and admire Juergen. He’s such a nice guy, very honest, and clearly a great coach. He’ll be missed.

  12. As a United, I would like to say Jurgen has been fantastic for the Prem was jealous when he picked Liverpool over us.

Watching this press conference it’s interesting that he mentions energy etc. I hate to speculate but could there be an underlying health condition or it actually is burnout from the job.

  13. As a United fan, I have huge respect for him. What he did at Dortmund and Liverpool are unparalleled. To take teams like the two and going toe-to-toe with giants like Bayern and City is something. We have to remember where Liverpool was at when he started there, versus where City was at (already title winning) when Pep took over.

  14. Ymmv but I think Hendo leaving has a bit to do with this departure, as well. He & Jurgen were bonded tight together, like a found father-son team. Jordan was Jurgen's voice on the pitch in the thick of it. They went through the crucible together, they fronted out critics, and it was their vision of LFC and their emotional drive to validate themselves and each other that drove them on. It can't have been easy for either of them to walk away after so long, or for Jurgen to come to a place where he isn't on the same page or team as Hendo anymore. What hurts the most is that Jordan won't be there with the rest of LFC to say goodbye or send off the man who meant and gave so much, it doesn't feel right.
