Who is here after MOURINHO is the new manager of Tottenham?!
As a chelsea fan 🤣🤣🤣🖕have fun at the mid table. Back when we were no more worried about Tots on matchday than Everton.
Thanks for this upload SKY.
you helped make my decision to never watch this channel again soooo much easier
Who is here after Poch got sacked?
I’m a spurs fan and I was laughing 2 summers ago when the likes of Sanchez, Ozil, Ramsey, the Ox all had a year or 2 left on their deals and the club were floundering far behind the title contenders…. ‘what sort of negligence is this?… farcical from a business point of view…. they’re f****d….’
I’m not laughing now I’ll tell you that.
Let’s be clear; Levy isn’t blameless in any of this and I’m fiercely critical of his running of the FOOTBALL side of things, Poch simply has to take blame for this as well.
May 2018, we’ve just finished 23 points behind Man City, Zidane leaves Real Madrid. There’s the possible job for him if he wants to try and win stuff… or he can hold tight and see if we spend some proper money to try and close the gap on City. Instead, he signs a new deal in June, only for us to sit back and sign nobody in the summer transfer window. Poch’s response?:
“It is better to keep hold of our best players”
These players seemingly including Eriksen, Alderweireld and Vertonghen, who all had 2 years left on their deals?
Absolutely appalling lack of ambition by the club in summer 2018 has led to us being well off the pace from being title contenders, and we stand to lose £150m of talent in the summer for free, and we know damn well Levy will find any sort of excuse not to pay to find equal or better quality replacements
Poch out. Levy out.
Letting players leave it's a London (north) thing. Greed apparently is not good but Londoners still greedy greedy greedy like ice cube.
Are you guys blind? Levy is an IDIOT. He gives huge contracts to Kane and Ali and ignores Eriksen etc, and then gets upset when they want to leave. At the time Eriksen was involved in 80% of the goals but was ignored for at least a year on 70000 a week while Kane and Ali was getting 3 times that much. I have played on a football team and players know exactly what the other players are worth, and if you are not fair they will react, as long as Levy is running the show, Tottenham will not win the Premier League!
How will they cope without players who have brainfart every week. U
Been saying this alot, they will decline massively. Kane should think about leaving too
O’Shea is gawd awful.
all spurs talk starts at 7:11
This whole free transfer thing is pretty simple… Rose is honest to the public whereas most players are thinking the same thing without saying anything…. The math is simple no? Club getting transfer fee… vs Player getting a massive contract… Ramsey was on 110k at Arsenal… if he resigned at Arsenal last year he'd get max 180k (That's what Auba is on)… he ran down his contract… Arsenal gets ZER0… Juventus past the transfer fee onto the player wages and Ramsey gets 400kp/w instead.
Rose is on 60k a week now… he's worth 25m… instead of any club paying 25m to Tottenham… they spread the 25m over 4 years… Rose gets 120k a week instead… it makes financial sense.
Transfers fee will become a thing of the past, players will have the power (as they should), clubs offer players 2-3 year contracts, once they're done? Clubs can fight over how much they're willing to pay… teams will have a salary cap… oh wait that's NBA they've been doing it for decades! League champions will no longer be dominated by who's got the most money… teams will spend heavily on developing youth players, it will be a much better league.
They're not coping now…. so relegated?
Well, it's not getting any worse without them
they will miss vertonghen but erickson has been gone for over a season his display has been woeful he wants out
The media is actually disgusting for blowing a small incident like that out of proportion the way they have. (Sterling and Gomez)
Good riddance I say
The British media is treating Southgate very different. If this was an international manager, they'd be dragging him down
An impossible position? Stop. These things ah e happened time after time over the years and we never. Had a clue. He made a story out of a non story. He could have not played Sterling, said nothing and we’d be none the wiser. He made a big thing out of it and broke the sanctity of the locker room.
I thought that was Paddy McGuinness for a bit 🤔
the way the 3 of them are performing it will be no great loss COYS
What a load of bullshit no one died move on
Toby is on 70k verthongan 60k eriksen 80k why would they stay there!!!
the whole tottenham team have sucked since febuary.
the 3 ajax boys are destined for a bigger club and trophies. they gave tottenham many years of good football and progress, but tottenham is just a top6 club and the wagesstructure have been exposed.
if they wanted to win stuff, they should have extended them allong time ago or sold.
Levi doesn't want to pay wages. That's why players want to leave. Levi prefers short term profit. In summer 2019, Spurs spent a net of £55 million, but recouped all of that in wages saved. So Spurs have spent nothing in nearly 3 years. Spurs need to spend close to £300 million on players and wages, just to match Liverpool, and this would come nowhere near what Man U, Arsenal, City or Chelsea have spent in that time.
Does it even matter if we struggle when they’re gone? Not like its making a big difference them playing now is it. I say brink on the kids. That’s what he was known for once. Pochettino doesn’t care anymore
tottenham just cant cope nevermind with who or without
It happens because Tottenham is not as important a club as they think.
Arsenal: We let go for free
Spurs: Wait and watch
What a pair of wallies.
Simple answer. Spurs won't cope. Kane will want out at the end of this season also if they don't finish top 4 .
Gareth thed
Fake debate on Sterling. Southgate is a man of principle and he would have done what he did no matter what the circumstances. England have strength in depth and is not a one man team. Leaving Sterling out for one game is not a problem.
All of these players bar Toby are passed it so ideally you would get rid of them all in the summer and re invest into the side
Spurs have the platform to build a trophy winning team. New stadium, amazing training ground, when the billionaire new owner who wants to spend big on players and wages comes in .. we will be sorted lol
Toby and Jan have been fab tbf as has eriksen, but the first two are past it now and eriksen is the invisible man so they wont be any better or worse than they are now
Ok guys and gals, you all know my notorious 'Top 5 players Celtic should sign' lists. So I'm gonna change it up very slightly. I'm gonna do my personal best starting XI (assuming everyone is fit) and who I would sell and why. Then I'm gonna do the list of players I think we should buy to improve it, which may also contain options to boost our bench/rotate for "smaller" games. I will list multiple players for a single position. This does not mean I want to buy everyone on this list, it just gives more choice in case one player cannot be done. I hope you all enjoy!
Starting XI: (433)
GK: Forster
LB: Bolingoli
CB: Jullien
CB: Ajer
RB: Elhamed
CDM: McGregor
CM: Ntcham
CAM: Christie
LW: Elyounoussi
ST: Edouard
RW: Forrest
Subs: Gordon, Bitton, Hayes, Brown, Johnston, Sinclair, Griffiths, Shved
SELL:
Bain – Too short, been exposed in important games because of it.
Gordon – Mistake-prone and probably on decent wages.
Taylor – Average player and definitely not Celtic quality, don't know why we signed him in the first place.
Hendry – No explanation needed.
Eboue Kouassi – LOAN. I have a feeling there is a player in there, however we don't know because he never plays. Loan him out to Aberdeen or some English Championship club to see how he does. If poorly then sell.
Kundai Benyu – Not Celtic quality.
Bitton – Versatile and been a good servant, but too injury prone for me and another wage less to pay.
Rogic – Seriously declined in recent time, constantly injured and will have a decent value which we should cash in on. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a great player on his day, but he's a luxury we cannot afford.
Sinclair – Great player once again, but on big wages (30k+ a week) and lots of competition. If we can even get £1m for him in January and get him off the wage bill, then I would take it especially with his contract up at the end of the season.
Morgan – Like Hendry, no explanation necessary. Never Celtic quality in a million years and I don't understand why we signed him in the first place.
Now here's the fun part! Players Celtic should sign! 🍀
Fraser Forster – Pretty obvious. He has everything needed. 6'7, loves the club, BIG game player (no pun intended), phenomenal goalkeeper overall. It's been reported by certain media outlets that Celtic DO have an option to buy. We need to take it. We won't get better.
Joe Lewis – With my decision to sell Scott Bain and Craig Gordon we only have Forster. Joe Lewis has proved over the years at Aberdeen he is a quality goalkeeper and I'm sure would be happy to take up a 2nd role at Celtic. 6'6, great shot-stopper, knows Scottish football and is definitely affordable. Would be the ideal back up goalkeeper.
Solberg Meling – Greg Taylor is not Celtic quality and with him being sold that leaves us with one natural LB. I believe Meling's contract will only have 6 months or something like that at the end of the season. He has proved against us on multiple occasions he is a real handful and even scoring at Celtic Park. He is affordable, has European experience and would be a great rival to Bolingoli for that starting LB spot. We won't get better value.
Strahinja Pavlović – Stands at 6'4 and is VERY highly rated in Serbia. Pavlovic is left footed which is something we do not currently have at centre back and at 18 years old has INCREDIBLE potential. You can pretty much guarantee that whatever we spend on this boy we would never lose money, and probably make a fantastic profit in a few years. And let's be honest, who doesn't love a hard as f*** Serbian in their team!
Sander Berge – Sander Berge is 6'5 and a first team, key player for Norway, despite only being 21 years old! He plays for Genk in the Belgium Premiership and would be an absolute wonder singing. Our only problem is that he probably isn't affordable. Liverpool and Napoli have both been credited with interest in the wonder kid, meaning his price will definitely be too much for us. I scouted this boy a year or two ago and have seen him play a few times, always impressing. I will put him in here even though he is likely out of budget, just in case. It is very frustrating though knowing if I was a scout for Celtic we would have signed this boy way before now. I would also love to see us have two 6'5 Norwegian wonder kids in our team!
Victor Wanyama – Like Forster, this is an obvious one. Wanyama is an absolute monster of a player! You all know what you get with him so I won't bother explaining. Victor's deal with Spurs is up in 2021, and with Spurs apparently having a clear out with Wanyama being one of those on the list, Celtic should be able to get him on a cut-price deal. If he was willing to take a drop in wages to get game time this is definitely a deal we should be exploring. His wages and injury record are a slight concern, but if the finances are right we should 100% take the gamble.
Mohamed Elyounoussi – Elyounoussi has been a revelation since joining on loan from Southampton! He was lethal at Molde and Basel and would be a HUGE coup if we could secure him on a permanent basis. If Southampton were to get relegated from the Premier League this season, they would almost certainly need a clear out to cut the wage bill. With Elyounoussi being out of favour we could possibly be in line for another cut price deal. This is the caliber of signings we need to be aiming for if we are to get back to the Champions League!
Mislav Oršic – The Croatian is on red hot form for Dynamo Zagreb this season, even scoring a hat-trick in the Champions League at home to Shakhtar Donetsk. He also scored 3 goals in qualifying and a sensational 8 goals in 9 games in the Croatian league this season. Zagreb signed him for a measly 900k last season, so definitely got a bargain. He is also incredibly two-footed which is a phenomenal trait to have. If we didn't get Elyounoussi this boy would likely be equally as impressive!
Zlatan Ibrahimović – I am well aware this will get a few raised eyebrows from the pessimists, however just let me explain. Zlatan would have loads to gain from signing with Celtic. It would be another big club to add to his hugely impressive CV. He would win more trophies to add to his CV. He would get European football again after Christmas and possibly the chance to play UCL football next year. With Zlatan being a free agent we could afford to use money we would have spent on a fee, to put towards a slightly bigger wage, and with the incredible commercial/merchandise earnings he would bring the club, we would make it back and then some! He also gets the chance to play in one of the biggest derbies in world football. If you look at the teams he is being linked with now, the three favourites are AC Milan, Man United and Bologna. Now, Celtic can offer him European football just like AC and Man U. Bologna couldn't. The card up our sleeve over Milan and United however, is that the likely hood is that both of those teams will NOT be able to offer him UCL football next season. Whereas we will! Not only that, but he's already been at both of those clubs before and he has never been at the same club twice. Maybe he would also fancy a change of scenery? If Bologna are one of the favourites to sign him, I see absolute no reason why we can't! Let's be honest, earning 50/60k a week, winning more trophies, playing in front of 60,000 fans every other week and playing Champions League football at one of the greatest stadiums in the world at 39 years of age isn't exactly something to turn your nose up at! Beats Bologna anyway…
Possible 2020/21 Celtic starting XI:
GK: Forster
LB: Meling
CB: Jullien
CB: Ajer
RB: Elhamed
CDM: Berge
CDM: McGregor
CAM: Christie
LW: Oršić
ST: Edouard
RW: Forrest
Subs: Lewis, Bolingoli, Pavlović, Brown, Ntcham, Johnston, Zlatan, Shved
I hope you all enjoyed! It took me a rather long time to write all this, especially as I did it in one sitting! I would HUGELY appreciate a like and for you to comment on what you agree/disagree with and even your own targets and who you would sell! Thanks so so much everyone and stay safe and enjoy your evening! HH 🍀✌🏼️
They'll be fine. As long Poch stays on
I think these first 4 players leaving are hoping to make the board change the out of date wages system they have, £200K leaving the club next summer, this is just the start others will follow the same way to end of contract.
Ericksen should not leave,he is a good player
Vertonghen wont be much of a miss
Gomez suffered not one but two traumatic events. I don't think this is something we will ever forget.
Why don't you get an actual psychologist to come on this show rather than some half-assed pundits who say they should "just act like men" and "shows the passion"? No informed insight.
These pundits are not being honest…..
Clicked on this glad to see it was about something other the sterling gomez thing, turns out it's not. Great job lads
@3:37 so it's harsh that he's missing one game, a few seconds later he talks about a ''slap on the wirst'', what is it then? make up your mind, horrible pundits, BT and Sky try to out do each other in who has the worst pundits.
Tottenham should off load a load of players next season. Pick up some free transfers to replace
Lloris
Meunier(free) nach (free) sanchez -sessengnon
Ndombele
Lallana (free). Matuidi (free)
Son. Kane. Ryan fraser(free)
Players come players go they don’t want to sign new contracts get rid club comes first
Absolute hypocrisy of discussing this issue as they are
Spurs don’t know how to business letting trippier go was a bad move now they and they didn’t replace home now the struggling on that side if all of these players leave on a free no money comes in for them to use and replace them either and boom they in the championship next 2 seasons and Kane signs for Madrid
I can't stand Gareth southgate,he wouldn't do any good as a club manager…
