These pundits haven’t done their homework. There’s not 43 players on 9 year contracts. Enzo said he wants a squad of 25 and there’s over 10 up for sale and at least 8 will go on loan as well. I wish people would stop perpetuating the lie that Chelsea have 43 first team players on long contracts who all expect to play every week and include the reserve and youth players. Chelsea owners rightly or wrongly are copying the Barcelona and Real Madrid model who h they have done for decades. The premier league isn’t used to teams buying expensive players for development and youth teams on this level. It’s lazy punditry and lazy journalism.

Chelsea have numbers but no depth. Honestly, not one of our goalies, center backs or strikers makes the first team of an actual title contender.

Sterling thinks he’s too big to be removed from the team no matter how poor he’s been. All those players listed are up for sale or loans. Kepa, Lukaku, Petrovic. Most of them are about to be sold or just can’t be part of the team anymore. A lot of those players are even academy players

There is a bias from football legends against Chelsea I mean the Gary Neville and the lot just because the players cost much more. The boys played well today, confident and entertaining. This is going to be a better season than the last.

I personally don’t know what these managers for Chelsea are up to! Nkunku is more experienced than Jackson. Nkunku n Cole Palmer should play top while Rahim n Madueke for wing forward. Latvia far better than Enzo so why sub him. Caicedo was a flop. Broja , Gallagher n Lukaku should be brought back! This is not serie A for fellas to calling Osimhen inclusion. Epl is a different league. Osimhen flop in the last afcon so what’s so good about him for epl
