Is there anyway to make money coaching youth sports? Is this like when you know you were not qualified to coach at the professional level so your only option is to coach kids for free and still work another job to make ends meet?
I feel alot of coach dads take this too seriously when they aren't even getting paid for any results. Like maybe it's a free pass for them to yell at kids and make them feel bad if they suck at soccer. Because they couldn't afford a Porsche or Ferrari.
About to debut as a coach after playing for 20 years. Literally barely 24 but I’m nervous asfuck yet excited. Playing the game and knowing my team/role is one thing but now trying to play the role of the gaffer is crazy. Hope to do good today. Only been training with the team for a month
Thanks for the video!
Can you do one on formations
This video was so helpful!
This is my first time coaching let alone i dont know anything about soccer but my son is starting next week and i volunteered as a assistant coach but didnt expect to become a coach to 7 kids! Im scared not gonna lie but im glad i came across this thank u
Thanks for the video. I volunteered to coach for my four-year-old daughters soccer team. I’ve been looking at videos for about an hour now and this is the most informative video I have found.
Thank you for the video!!! Helps me alot. I just volunteered to coach my kids soccer team. 🤟🏽
Very helpful video. Thanks for sharing. I am interested in formations.
Thanks this is helpful.. I'm going from assistant volunteer coach to Volunteer Coach this spring.
Thank you for this video. I had my first practice for my 5 year old team and I failed I had no idea what to do.
I need help this is gonna be my first time coaching u 10 idk what to do ?
This video is so helpful. I am my 7 year old’s soccer coach, and I have never coached soccer before in my life. I was the only parent to show up for the meetings but immediately reached out to all the parents when I got home from the meeting. I am so excited to do this! When I found out his team didn’t have a coach I wanted to volunteer to be the coach because it just seems like a way to have some fun with my oldest and teach him a few things.
This is my 9 year old son's first season playing soccer and if we didn't coach, he wouldn't have a team to play on. I'm nervous as I've never played before, but this old fat guy is gonna have fun with it!
Your video made me drop a tear. I was gonna try to make a team so my little brothers nd his friends could play nd be more affordable than other teams. I was thinking it was gonna be too much nd so good of an idea then your video inspired me through the roof. I hope you continue to make videos they would help soooo much Thank you for your words l!
Good video . Music made it hard to get through
Thank you I just got my first team as a coach being a rec assistant this is a very different assignment then I’m normally tasked but this video is helping my transition in nicely. Thank you!
Thank you for this video. I am coaching my 8 year old daughter team in November for the first time. Difficulty: we are in Argentina, where soccer rules. Losing a World Cup final match is a failure for us. Luckily, girls soccer is less stressful. You can find videos of parents squaring off against each other and or referees at ten year old kids games here!
This is my first year coaching, starting with 4-5 year Olds, my first practice tomorrow and I'm nervous about running practice.
Great video
"so somehow you got roped into coaching a soccer team"
😅 Me litteraly like 10 minutes ago. Thanks for the advice!!! Cheers 🍻
We literally were told we were coaching the day of practice. Well, my husband did. We were hoping for an assistant coach for him. Now, that's me! We don't know anything about the game, and he's only coached football. So, thanks for the video! First practice today. We are the only ones who can do this or all the kids can't play, so here we go!
Your a good man! Thank you for all the advice! You’d be suprized, theres alot of vet coachs out there who aren’t willing to give any advise to new coachs
"somehow you got roped in…." YUP. That's why I'm here!!
Thank you for the video! I didn't even think of checking out the USA website.
Ty
Im from Australia',would that website be still good to use?
I love your logo 🔥
I started coaching with my my sister on a 4 year old team. Her daughter,( my niece) is on there as well. I'm 33 and my sister is 30. We have 5 boys and 4 girls. We've had one practice so far and I've never coached, I've just played and so has my sister. We have a blast and try to get them to do some drills and they're pretty good with it. Any tips on telling them not to use their hands and can only use your feet???
