  1. I was at the game at the azteca vs ecuador. The energy was at 100% the entire 90 min. It was insane. My ears were still ringing the next day. Azteca is something truly mythic.

  2. Van a llegar a los penaltys, el ganador estará en el aire, sin ganan los ingleses ojalá salgan campeones, no dejen que ganen esos argentos que son beneficiados por la fifa

  3. Why news outlets, commentators youtubers;Tiktokers etc; making statements, excuses like; altitude, air pollution, of Mexico's home advantage of playing in the Azteca stadium; ladies and gentlemen ; all the football(soccer)players are profesionals and should be ready to play in any type of circumstances, obstacles(rain, snow, altitude),barriers, etc, so making excuses are not acceptable for profesional football players. The botton line is that Mexico showed and gave the world an excellent, magnificent and beautiful display on a amazing game; and demonstrating tremendous skills and tactics that overshadowed the opponent overpaid players.

  4. People forget that most of the Mexican squad plays at sea level in Europe or in completely different regions of Mexico. They don't live in CDMX. Dropping them into 7,300 feet of altitude and heavy pollution hits their lungs just as hard. It's like making the US team play in Denver—being from the same country doesn't magically give you extra oxygen!

  5. Mexico is the only sleeping giant in this world cup they have real talent having won world under 17 and got silver in world under 20 these players at there prime now and can raise there game anytime they got the talent to do so

  6. It does seem like the pieces are falling in place for Mexico. England havent looked too convincing, Brasil isnt the Brasil of old. Norway is scary but their defense is lack luster. Not saying its going to be easy but there is a legit shot we make it to the semis. At that phase we would most likely face Argentina or Colombia, and at that point anything can happen. If we face Argentina, for once i dont think FIFA would favor them. Even if we play in the US its still like home field for us, so Argentina wont get their usual FIFA ref bias.

  7. I am 49 years old. This team has broken my heart since 1994 loss to Bulgaria. When I saw that first game against South Africa, I felt something different. I think the difference is that we are a more mature country, and the team reflects this. The new generation believes they can win the World Cup. Something feels different.

  8. What a game!! I could tell in the first 10 minutes that Mexico was the better team. Passing on point, pace on point, incredible goals, playing like a cohesive unit. Still haven't conceded a goal. Still attacking at the end of the game. What a team so much heart. Rooting for them to beat England and make history. ¡Viva México! 🇲🇽🇰🇷
