  2. They keep hammering on about city and Chelsea’s youth academies all about these players getting experience and what not but somehow forgot to ask the very simple question as to how these youth players in clubs like Chelsea and city feel when city/ pep and Chelsea constantly buy ready made talent instead of giving their youth more chances. How can a city or Chelsea academy player see a breakthrough in those first teams? City arguably let one of the best youth players I’ve ever seen leave jaden sancho how can you let such talent slip away.. but he saw what was happening and moved to Dortmund where he’s getting first team football. Why do sky seem to not mention this? All this dickriding by the media man..

  3. I think loans are overrated, as an English youngster you're always gonna be on the radar of top BPL clubs. You'd rather pull a Jadon Sancho and go off to Germany or Spain and ply your trade there.

  4. "is there a problem with stockpiling players?"
"no, because Brentford and Huddersfield have shut down their academy so they can take our cast-offs from our 40 loaned out players so win-win"

monopolies on talent at youth level should never be unchallenged. cant believe they let that go.

  5. No respect for Lescott I remember a show years ago trying to get premiership footballers to give a weeks wage to nurses in the NHS and he was arrogant about why they should do it.
