  1. I may be in the minority of this and I don't really care if you agree with me but personally I think it's chickenshit to use loopholes like this the…. The game should be played fair and honestly….I know most people might not agree with me but I don't care it's the way I see it…people dont carry themselves with honor or dignity anymore imo…. when I think of great coaches like Tom Landry or Vince Lombardi or John Madden I think they'd be embarrassed to win in this fashion

  2. Here's what I don't get – I thought the rule was already on the books that this was illegal participation and an automatic 15 yards. Was the NCAA just behind the NFL on this?

  3. Those field goal numbers are probably pro college kickers aren't't that good. Ohio States kicker career long was 47 yards 0/1 from 50+ 5/8 from 40+

  4. Great job of using the wording of the rule to your advantage (and I guarantee NFL teams saw that and a coach needy team may pick him up to find loopholes like this at the NFL level), and it’s a loophole that is rightfully being closed. Bellicheck used these kinds of technicalities about penalties to his advantage multiple times throughout his career and flirted with the line multiple times in his career (see the Mel Blount rule)
