  1. I remember Rovers winning the third divison title in 1975, if you would have said to me that in 20 years we would win the first divison or premier league title in 20 years time id be asking you what drugs you were taking, for people of my age it happened we were there, a golden age for us all

  2. Wasn't exactly a suprise or shock season – they spent big for the time, breaking the tranfer record twice with Shearer, then Sutton. Also broke goalkeeping transfer record with Tim Flowers. They fully deserved the success, but wasn't exactly as David / Goliath as presented here.

  3. I am getting chills running down my spine watching this, this evokes glorious memories especially since this was at a time when I first watched the English premier league. Eventhough I was an avid Liverpool supporter,I admired Shearer,Sutton and Colin Hendry.

  4. deeee only season been
watchd with full football understanding though ….

âaaa wezZ somehow e fan for coventry playstyle backthen, and e bit of de Astonz de Villa !!!
    😅😅😅

  5. God I wish we could go back to those days, our glory days have long since passed and the only way to regain them in today's game would be at the mercy of billionaire Arab, no thanks.

What a team though, what a season, 90's premiership for me was the peak for English football.

  6. To be fair, whilst I'm not sure that much about PL history, I imagine this was one of the biggest parts in PL history, little town Blackburn that was a minor town club suddenly housed the most expensive British footballer and won the Premier League, we really fell from grace, Shearer will always be a part of the worlds history and especially ours ⚪️🔵🌹

  7. I was at the Liverpool game that day supporting my beloved Liverpool and probably for the first time in my life i really wanted us to lose just to see King Kenny win the league but as it happened it turned out fine for both sides
Don’t get me wrong i admired Ferguson and what he brought to football and the way he played his team i have nothing but respect for him but this day well just brilliant for Blackburn 👍

  8. Pathetic club and a Pathetic owner bought them a trophy..these days Blackburn cry about everybody who receives parachute payments because they really need some but are NEVER going to be good enough to ever return to the Premier league whilst their illustrious neighbours burnley do things the right way and have earned the success that they see at turf Moor..utc champions 22-23 🏆
