I remember when the Sounders were trying to get fans to go to games at the Seattle Memorial Stadium-which is much smaller than Lumens Field. It was probably very hard to get a ticket to this match in a stadium of 70,000. Seattle fans are loud for Seahawks games, but I think the Sounders fans have passed Seahawks fans for the passion and the noise and certainly atmosphere

I'd given up on the prospect of an MLS team winning the CONCACAF Champions League in my lifetime. But one actually did, and I had a feeling it would be the Sounders. Kudos to Pumas too (who I actually followed a couple years back)
