  1. I'm a neutral. This leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
I guess this is why VAR has been introduced to most men's games now and it will obviously have to be introduced into the UWCL. It's such a shame, because VAR really does spoil the moment 😥.Real Madrid getting a draw from this game just feels so unfair.
The equaliser was never a penalty. In fact, it didn't even look like a free kick. If it was a free kick, the infringement didn't carry on* into the box, even though the player dived/fell well inside the box. (*If the infringement starts outside the box, but carries on inside the box, it is a penalty)
The injury time goal was a mile onside and would definitely have been awarded if there was VAR.
I hope this doesn't affect the outcome of the group.

  2. RM is one of the dirtier teams that has developed the art of arguing with the referee. All questionable tackles, grabbing and pushing should be carded. This is the only way that soccer will be cleaned-up. I would like to see referees who ignore the crowd, ignore the players and give lots of cards when they are deserved. The managers are equally to blame and could clean-up soccer by substituting players whose ethics are questionable. The refereeing for this game was appalling. GT
