St Patrick’s Athletic are through to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League after a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory against Slovenian side NŠ Mura. With the sides level after last week’s first leg draw, there was little between the two teams throughout, however St Pat’s ‘keeper Joseph Anang produced a series of superb saves to keep the score level, before saving a penalty in the shoot-out. The Saints will now face CSKA Sofia for a place in the Play-Off round, with the first leg away in Sofia on Thursday 4th August.
