  1. NYCFC's luck will run out eventually. Right now they're 2nd in the East with a -1 goal differential. In comparison TFC has +12 with 5/6 games left at home to pad that stat, and NYRB also are at +12. Lampard and Villa are killing it but their defense just doesnt cut it and that will always hold them back. They remind me of DC United last year who rode unsustainable luck to 1st place for the first 2/3 of the season and then dropped right at the end to 5th once their lack ran out.

  2. Those fucking football lines. We are so overdue for our own stadium but try building anything in Boston. The "not in my backyard" sentiment is very strong here. Last I heard they've set their sights on a nice site in Dorchester where the former Bayside Expo Center was which has a t-stop and a commuter rail stop right next to it and overlooks the ocean. Hope that works out. We're the original MLS franchise & still can't get our own damn urban stadium.
